Hello! I'm Sanya Mansoor, a Kashmiri who grew up in India, England and Singapore. The U.S. has been my home for the last seven years. School and internships have taken me to Chicago, Dallas, Austin, New York, Boston, DC, Miami, Johannesburg and Kashmir.
I'm currently an investigative intern at The Miami Herald. For the last year, I have been a research assistant for a national project about child abuse and neglect for ProPublica and The Boston Globe. In the past, I covered education and politics and also have experience with investigative, breaking news and enterprise stories. I just wrapped up an internship at The Center for Public Integrity, where I reported in-depth pieces on a conservative movement to change the U.S. Constitution and state lawmakers who rake in campaign cash despite running unopposed. I have also reported on schools for The Dallas Morning News and the 85th Texas Legislature for The Texas Tribune. |
